About us

Volunteer Centre Istria (VCI) is a non-governmental organisation that focuses on implementing different types of activities aimed at promoting the values and benefits of volunteering and youth work, usually combining these two areas.

The activities revolve around: informing different target groups about volunteering opportunities, while focusing on the providing young people with the support for the implementation of youth-led volunteering actions, both within formal and non-formal educational programs (including supporting youngsters in the implementation of the solidarity projects), building the capacities of different organisations for quality management of volunteers, etc. Volunteer Centre Istria also supports different municipalities in enabling and enhancing active participation of young people in their community.

Beside that, the organisation aims at providing different activities and services based on the needs and interests of young people, also in the areas of (un)employment, personal and professional development, etc.
